Senior Manager of Test Operations

Essential Functions

• Oversight of daily operations to ensure production schedules are met and products are manufactured/fabricated to the highest quality standards.
• Implementation and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve operational efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Development and execution of strategies to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve throughput.
• Management and allocation of resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet production goals.
• Development and management of budgets for the test area, monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety within the assembly operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior operations experience.
• Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior operations experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior operations experience.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations (preferably test operations), with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Supervisory and administrative skills including the ability to select, appraise, motivate and develop subordinates.
• Ability to optimize a manufacturing environment with process equipment, specialty tooling and facility maintenance.
• Familiarity with EHS practices in the manufacturing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels and functions; including the ability to present to senior-level executives.
• Ability to provide effective direction, leadership and team building.
• Demonstrated abilities to plan, prioritize and delegate work assignments, including ability to define, implement and execute standard work.
• Skills and abilities to provide technical and administrative guidance for activities, including decision making in ambiguous situations.
• Knowledge and ability to supervise/manage large multi-functional manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of design practices, manufacturing techniques and inspection requirements as they relate to the production floor.
