Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations to ensure production schedules are met and products are manufactured/fabricated to the highest quality standards.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve operational efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve throughput.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet production goals.
- Develop and manage budgets for the test area, monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety within the assembly operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior operations experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior operations experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior operations experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations (preferably test operations), with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Supervisory and administrative skills including the ability to select, appraise, motivate and develop subordinates.
- Familiarity with EHS practices in the manufacturing environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels and functions; including the ability to present to senior-level executives.
- Ability to provide effective direction, leadership and team building.
- Demonstrated abilities to plan, prioritize and delegate work assignments, including ability to define, implement and execute standard work.
- Skills and abilities to provide technical and administrative guidance for activities, including decision making in ambiguous situations.
- Knowledge and ability to supervise/manage large multi-functional manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge of design practices, manufacturing techniques and inspection requirements as they relate to the production floor.
Benefits
