About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager Of Global Payroll to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a Business Services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for all international locations, ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed payroll team, setting performance goals and conducting reviews
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, tax requirements, and organizational policies while managing compliance risks
  • Identify and implement best practices to enhance payroll accuracy, efficiency, and automation
  • Manage relationships with third-party payroll providers, overseeing vendor selection and performance
  • Oversee internal and external payroll audits, preparing comprehensive reports for executive leadership
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, and IT to ensure seamless payroll integration with business processes
  • Lead global payroll projects, including system implementations and process standardizations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive payroll experience, including 5 years in a global payroll leadership role (US and India experience preferred)
  • Extensive knowledge of international payroll practices, regulations, and tax laws
  • Experience with Workday Payroll, Absence, and Timekeeping SKUs
  • Demonstrated success in managing payroll teams across multiple countries and time zones
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading large-scale payroll initiatives
  • Knowledge of SOX controls, GDPR, and audit processes

Compensation

$130,000 – $170,000 annually
