For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Global Payroll to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will own global payroll operations and the underlying operating model for a multi-entity environment, with responsibility for accuracy, compliance, and strong service delivery across US and international cycles. The position will partner closely with People Operations, Accounting, and external payroll providers to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time while payroll processes remain well controlled and audit ready. You will also help drive system improvements, support reconciliations and month-end activities, and strengthen the overall employee experience through continuous payroll process optimization. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $136,000 – $187,000 annually Responsibilities Own the global payroll operating model, overseeing all aspects of payroll processing and reconciliation. Lead US and international payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple cycles and requirements. Manage relationships with third-party payroll providers, enforcing service quality and compliance. Establish payroll controls and maintain audit-ready documentation for employee data and transactions. Collaborate with People Operations to ensure accurate payroll for all employee lifecycle events. Support accounting functions related to payroll reconciliations and month-end processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in payroll systems and employee experience. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive payroll experience in global operations within multi-entity organizations. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, human resources, business, or a related field; CPP preferred. Experience managing US and international payroll, including service-level oversight across multiple countries. Strong knowledge of payroll tax, year-end reporting, and related compliance requirements. Hands-on experience with payroll systems and leading significant system implementations or integrations. Proven track record of designing effective payroll controls and audit processes. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in investigating variances.
