Job Summary

The Senior Manager of FP&A will lead core planning and performance management activities across budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic decision support, with a strong focus on cost of goods sold, supply chain performance, and enterprise initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the annual cost of goods sold planning process through setting the timeline and targets and conducting analysis (Pre and Post) to ensure efficient operations
  • Responsible for recommending input on financial forecasts and program planning
  • Responsible for providing insights on risks and opportunities associated with analysis, budget, and forecast, using an in-depth understanding of the corporate strategy (Strategic Pillars) and the external business environment
  • Responsible for the forecasting & budgeting process, development of KPI's and move to a rolling forecast
  • Responsible for the preparation, analysis and reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting/forecasting process including as well as variances between actuals, budget and forecasts
  • Lead & recommend and implement cost savings, productivity & process improvements, and other supply chain enhancement opportunities through applying technical, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Generate insights, develop solutions, drive action, and assist in delivering results
  • Responsible for analyzing specific areas within Supply Chain that are not generating results as expected
  • Partner with business leaders to estimate the financial performance of new programs under consideration
  • Aid in prioritizing strategies and initiatives within each business area
  • Identify potential risks and provide proactive solutions as key initiatives are implemented
  • Critical thinking to challenge current practices, drive operational improvements, and identify new opportunities across business/functional areas
  • Provides standard and ad hoc analysis; look for new ways to analyze the business
  • Perform benchmarking, scenario or other financial modeling / analytical exercises to support or refute strategic hypotheses
  • Support M&A activity through financial due diligence, valuation analysis, business case development, and integration planning to help assess strategic fit and financial impact
  • Financial modeling including scenario, sensitivity, and ROI analysis
  • Build and maintain robust financial models, including scenario, sensitivity, and ROI analyses, to evaluate investments, strategic initiatives, and acquisition opportunities
  • Partner with senior leadership to translate complex analyses into clear recommendations, supporting capital allocation decisions, long-range planning, and transaction-related presentations
  • Provide leadership, employee development and adhere to the values of Benjamin Moore instilling the value of trust, openness and collaboration within the FP&A team

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, computer science, data science, information science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Ability to operate and influence effectively across the organization and within complex contexts
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing company is preferred
  • SAP experience is a plus but not required
  • Demonstrated leadership; ability to develop direct reports, track record of leading complex, multidisciplinary teams
  • Leader with the ability to communicate openly and honestly with colleagues and customers
  • Takes personal responsibility for the quality and content of the work, and complies with information confidentiality requirements where applicable
  • Experience in integrating complex, cross-corporate processes and information strategies, and/or designing strategic metrics and scorecards

Pay Range

USD $134,100.00 - USD $171,600.00 /Yr.
