Senior Manager of Finance and Accounting

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and reporting packages for executive leadership and the parent company.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
• Prepare working cash flow forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Support the annual budgeting and long-range planning process.
• Prepare executive financial reports, KPI dashboards, and management presentations.
• Analyze revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, profitability, and business performance.
• Perform budget, forecast, and prior-year variance analysis.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Accounting Specialist.
• Foster strong cross-functional partnerships across the organization.
• Assist with insurance administration, business licensing, and other corporate compliance activities.
• Cook up with external IT vendors supporting ERP and finance systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting, finance, and FP&A experience.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and financial modeling.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
• Experience with Consumer packaged goods preferred.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Manufacturing or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience preferred.
• Experience with external audits and consolidated financial reporting preferred.
