About the role
This role will guide the evolution of a modern network environment that supports both corporate operations and a distributed workforce. You will own network reliability, automation, and infrastructure strategy while partnering closely with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders. The position also plays a key leadership role in strengthening team performance, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring the network can scale with the business.
Responsibilities
- Lead the transition to a cloud-native network architecture
- Drive automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
- Oversee network uptime commitments and reliability measures
- Own corporate network infrastructure from headquarters to remote offices
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for competitive outcomes
- Translate complex network strategies for non-technical stakeholders
- Enhance team performance through career development and talent strategy
Qualifications
- 7+ years of network engineering experience in production environments
- 3+ years of experience leading and developing technical teams
- Deep expertise with Cisco switching and routing protocols, including BGP and OSPF
- Experience managing Palo Alto Networks firewall deployments
- Knowledge of AWS cloud networking, including VPCs and Transit Gateways
- Proficient in infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

Compensation: $177,100 – $221,400 annually
