Senior Manager, Medical Monitoring Analytics, Oncology

About the role
This is a hybrid role based in North Chicago, IL, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. The Senior Manager, Medical Monitoring Analytics, Oncology will support the adoption of advanced technologies and processes for enterprise data analytics across diverse sources, influencing medical oncology stakeholders to maximize data and analytics value.
Responsibilities
- Mentor, guide, and supervise junior staff and contractors.
- Lead development and validation of innovative algorithms using advanced analytics and AI/ML.
- Oversee analytically and clinically complex cross-functional R&D Clinical Development projects to drive data-informed decisions.
- Represent the Medical & Safety Analytics team at key regulatory, compliance, and governance meetings as a subject matter expert in oncology medical analytics.
- Supervise resource allocation to ensure consistent analytics support and timely delivery of analytics solutions.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, GCPs, ICH guidelines, SOPs, and stay up to date with relevant global regulatory policies.
Requirements
- MS in statistics, mathematics, analytics, bioinformatics, data science, or equivalent field, and 2 years of experience applying data science analytics techniques in the pharma industry. OR BS in the same fields with 5 years of experience.
- Experience coding using R and Python.
- Experience performing statistical and data mining techniques.
- Experience building statistical visualization tools in Spotfire, Tableau, and MS PowerBI.
- Pharma full lifecycle domain knowledge as an analytic consultant for cross-functional teams.
- 1 year of experience performing project management and leading a team or cross-functional initiative (experience may be gained concurrently).

Pay
Salary range: $202,779 – $236,500 per year.
