About the role

The Senior Manufacturing Manager is responsible for leading manufacturing operations across assembly (including unit and electrical assembly) at the Waukesha site. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality production while delivering on operational targets and supporting the ramp-up of Jenbacher operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily manufacturing operations across assigned assembly areas (unit, electrical, and related processes), ensuring delivery on safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets
  • Translate strategic goals into executable production plans, schedules, and priorities across multiple teams
  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and production personnel; build a strong, engaged, and high-performing organization
  • Drive workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, and training to support production ramp and long-term capability needs
  • Champion a strong safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all EHS, quality, and operational standards
  • Ensure implementation and sustainment of quality policies, processes, and continuous improvement practices
  • Monitor KPIs (e.g., safety, quality, delivery, cost) and lead problem-solving to address gaps and improve performance
  • Proactively manage production flow, capacity, materials readiness, and constraints to ensure on-time delivery
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Materials, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure production readiness and operational alignment
  • Drive manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / MyFactory principles), identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost
  • Support the ramp-up and stabilization of assembly operations, ensuring alignment with global standards and successful transition to steady-state production

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business
  • 8–12+ years of manufacturing experience, including leadership responsibility
  • Prior experience leading supervisors or multiple production teams
  • Strong understanding of assembly/manufacturing operations and production systems

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to lead through others and drive team performance
  • Strong operational mindset with ability to balance execution and continuous improvement
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ramp-up environment
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change across functions
