Senior Manager, Maintenance
Position Summary
Our client, a leading manufacturer in a regulated industry, is seeking a Senior Manager, Maintenance to lead maintenance operations across a multi-shift manufacturing facility. This individual will be responsible for driving equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, CMMS effectiveness, and team performance while minimizing downtime and supporting operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead maintenance operations across all shifts, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable equipment performance.
Develop and coach maintenance supervisors and technicians, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize uptime and reduce unplanned downtime.
Drive CMMS utilization, work order management, maintenance planning, scheduling, and asset history accuracy.
Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and EHS to improve equipment reliability, eliminate recurring failures, and support production goals.
Monitor key maintenance metrics including PM compliance, MTTR, MTBF, schedule adherence, and equipment performance.
Manage maintenance planning, labor allocation, spare parts readiness, and resource utilization.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EHS, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to improve maintenance effectiveness and equipment reliability.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, or a related technical field preferred.
5+ years of progressive maintenance leadership experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment, including multi-shift operations.
Strong experience with CMMS, preventive maintenance, reliability engineering, maintenance planning, and work management systems.
Experience within a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device, pharmaceutical, consumer products, food & beverage, or similar) is preferred.
Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, SMRP, CMRP, or similar certifications are a plus.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to build high-performing teams, improve maintenance performance, and drive operational excellence.
