Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversight of attorney recruitment process (lateral and campus)
- Affirmation of Firm's marketing materials alignment with recruiting strategy
- Management of summer associate work assignments, evaluations, and reviews
- Support for orientation and integration processes for new associates
- Coordination of events to foster morale, collegiality, and teamwork
- Assistance with training and CLE efforts for attorneys
- Overseeing and maintaining Los Angeles office's mentoring programs
- Maintenance of budget for resource allocations
- Conducting exit interviews for departing associates
- Additional duties as assigned
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field, or equivalent years of experience
- Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience in a professional services firm or comparable environment
Skills & Experience
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong leadership skills
- Gravitas to liaise with partners and senior professionals
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Self-starting; able to take projects from conceptual stage through to implementation
- Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
- Great interpersonal skills and keen ability to carry out needs and objectives of the office
Preferred Experience
- Lateral and Campus Recruiting experience in the legal field
Salary Information
CA Only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $180,000 to $210,000 at the time of posting.
