Senior Manager, Lease Administration

Compass is looking for a strategic, high-performing Senior Manager of Real Estate Lease Administration to help manage ~2,000+ locations within our national office portfolio. This role will oversee our offshore lease administration function and team, including lease abstraction, database management, reconciliations, rent roll and audit services, while partnering with the broader Real Estate and Lease Administration teams to ensure data accuracy, lease compliance, and adherence to Compass’s business standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a large and complex portfolio and team. You will play a critical role in establishing and maintaining consistent lease administration processes, ensuring key lease terms and critical dates are accurately captured and maintaining the team’s KPI’s. This is an office-based role, with our New York City Flatiron office (110 Fifth Ave.) as the preferred location. Our Madison, NJ office (175 Park Ave.) is also an option.
Responsibilities
- Act as a team lead to manage preparation of monthly rent roll in accordance with lease provisions
- Compare and evaluate operating expense and tax reconciliation statements for Compass’s lease portfolio
- Communicate with Landlords regarding lease payments and charges
- Prepare reports of findings and ensure accurate credits and charges are recorded.
- Act as team lead overseeing the preparation of CAM reconciliations for accuracy and adherence to Compass standards.
- Knowledge of full-scope desktop and annual audits for corporate leases and recommend actions for audit recovery.
- Create training procedures for operating expense reconciliation and tenant recovery preparation.
