Senior Manager IT Manufacturing Applications

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager IT Manufacturing Applications to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will oversee manufacturing application strategy, technical design, and lifecycle support across a global environment. The ideal candidate will partner closely with manufacturing and business leaders to advance automation, digital factory initiatives, and analytics-driven operations. This is a highly visible leadership position focused on improving process efficiency, supporting validated systems, and enabling new product introduction in a regulated healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in technical design and lifecycle support for global manufacturing platforms
• Drive strategic initiatives related to digital factory and manufacturing AI/analytics
• Collaborate with business owners to automate manufacturing processes
• Support validation documentation and manage validated systems throughout their lifecycle
• Participate in testing, release planning, and go-live deployments
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve process efficiency
• Contribute to the strategic application roadmap and budget planning
• Manage daily activities of direct reports and support team development
• Work with manufacturing leadership to support new product introduction and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing systems management
• Experience with machine learning, predictive maintenance, and AI for manufacturing
• Proven track record in system architecture and lifecycle management
• Deep understanding of FDA requirements for validated systems
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Six Sigma experience or certification preferred

Pay

Compensation: $141,800 – $236,400 annually
