Responsibilities
- Create and maintain the enterprise architecture vision, guiding principles, governance practices, and multi-year roadmaps that support business objectives.
- Direct architectural decision-making across major technology domains, including cloud platforms, infrastructure, identity and access management, collaboration tools, and enterprise integration.
- Evaluate the technology portfolio to identify modernization opportunities, reduce unnecessary complexity, and support investment choices based on business value and risk.
- Partner with business and IT leaders to convert strategic goals into practical technology capabilities, prioritized initiatives, and measurable outcomes.
- Advise executives on architecture-related trade-offs, potential risks, and expected returns to support informed planning and funding decisions.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of architects and application specialists, encouraging accountability, innovation, and ongoing growth.
- Promote enterprise-wide standards by collaborating with leaders across cybersecurity, data, analytics, governance, and end-user services to ensure aligned and integrated solutions.
- Establish architectural practices that emphasize resiliency, scalability, security, supportability, and cost efficiency across platforms and applications.
- Support modernization efforts involving business applications and platforms, including environments related to SAP S/4HANA and Azure-based solutions, where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise architecture strategy, standards, and governance within a complex corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and the ability to apply them in practical business settings.
- Hands-on understanding of cloud and platform architecture, including experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with SAP ecosystems, including SAP HANA and SAP S/4HANA, with the ability to support architecture planning for enterprise applications.
- Proven success partnering with senior business and technology stakeholders to align architecture decisions with organizational priorities.
- Experience building, mentoring, and leading high-performing technical teams in architecture or related disciplines.
- Solid understanding of IT governance, risk-based decision-making, and architecture review practices across multiple technology domains.
