About the role

Do you enjoy bringing structure to complex technical programmes, working across teams and suppliers, and solving delivery challenges before they become blockers? We’re looking for a Third-Party IP (TPIP) Manager to join our IP Management team, coordinating the delivery and lifecycle management of third-party IP across Arm programmes. You’ll provide a clear view of TPIP preparedness, vendor obligations, delivery progress, risks and dependencies—from selection and procurement through delivery, compliance readiness and maintenance. You’ll also help improve the processes and approaches that support effective TPIP management across Arm. In Return This role works across Arm engineering and business teams to improve how third-party IP is selected, procured, delivered and tracked. There is scope to influence TPIP ways of working, develop relationships across engineering and business teams, and contribute to a growing area of Arm’s delivery model.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate third-party IP delivery and lifecycle activities across Arm programmes, providing clear visibility of readiness, progress, risks and dependencies.
  • Maintain accurate TPIP information, including ownership, need-by dates, procurement readiness, vendor commitments and delivery status.
  • Coordinate handoffs across IP selection, procurement and delivery, working closely with technical owners, programme teams, Procurement, Quality, Legal, Finance, engineering teams and third-party IP vendors.
  • Track vendor commitments, schedule changes and recovery plans, identifying risks and blockers early and driving actions through to resolution.
  • Support TPIP programme reviews and leadership reporting with clear, consistent and evidence-based information.
  • Coordinate agreed Continue / Hold / Cancel / Revalidate activities when changes to scope, schedule, vendor commitments or integration readiness require reassessment.
  • Drive continuous improvement in TPIP lifecycle processes, reporting, tools and ways of working.

Requirements

  • Experience in programme, project or delivery management within semiconductors, silicon IP, SoC development or a similarly complex technology environment.
  • Experience working with suppliers or technology vendors, including delivery commitments, issue resolution and recovery planning.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple teams to lead schedules, risks, dependencies and delivery priorities.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bring structure and clarity to complex activities.
  • Strong communication and partner management skills, with the ability to work efficiently with technical teams and senior collaborators.
  • Understanding of technology or IP lifecycle management, procurement readiness and delivery tracking, or relevant experience with comparable delivery processes.
  • Relevant transferable experience involving complex technology delivery, supplier management or cross-functional programme management is welcomed.

Skills

  • Experience with semiconductor IP selection, procurement, delivery or integration.
  • Experience working with IP vendors, EDA companies or semiconductor suppliers.
  • Experience with Jira or similar workflow and delivery management tools.
  • Experience with reporting, dashboards, data analysis or workflow automation.
