Senior Manager, Inventory Control

Lead inventory management strategies that ensure accurate inventory records, optimize stock levels, minimize losses, and support efficient supply chain operations. Oversee inventory control teams, develop policies and procedures, analyze inventory performance, and partner with operations, procurement, finance, logistics, and warehouse leadership to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement inventory control strategies, policies, and best practices.
  • Lead and mentor inventory control managers, supervisors, and analysts.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counting, physical inventories, and reconciliation processes.
  • Analyze inventory metrics and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, production, logistics, and finance teams to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Oversee inventory audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage inventory management systems (ERP/WMS) and recommend system enhancements.
  • Develop KPIs and prepare executive reports on inventory performance.
  • Participate in special projects such as deadstock review, onboarding or offboarding of new properties.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership abilities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred
