Senior Manager, Influencer & Creator Marketing
Own the strategic direction and P&L-level performance of Alloy's influencer program, translating creator relationships into a measurable, scalable acquisition channel. This senior individual contributor role blends hands-on execution with strategic partnership to the Growth leadership team, shaping how influencer marketing integrates into Alloy’s broader media mix. Reporting to the Director of Growth Marketing, the role requires a performance mindset and editorial instincts to identify influencers who can authentically and credibly speak to women’s health.
Responsibilities
- Influencer Strategy & Program Ownership
- Own the influencer and creator marketing strategy, including program structure, tier approach (nano, micro, mid-tier, macro), content formats, and channel mix
- Develop and maintain a clear point of view on how the influencer program drives brand awareness, audience growth, and paid acquisition, with measurable outcomes
- Build and manage a diversified roster of influencer and creator partners across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms, ensuring authentic alignment with Alloy’s audience and mission
- Stay current on platform trends, creator economy shifts, and emerging content formats to identify new partnership opportunities
- Develop program infrastructure: briefing templates, content approval workflows, tracking systems, and post-campaign reporting cadences
- Partner Sourcing, Vetting & Relationship Management
- Proactively identify, evaluate, and recruit new influencer partners aligned with Alloy’s brand values, audience demographics, and credibility in women’s health, menopause, and perimenopause
- Manage the full partner lifecycle: outreach, negotiation, contracting, onboarding, briefing, content review, publishing, and performance review
- Build genuine, long-term relationships with priority partners to develop brand advocates
- Vet partners for brand safety, audience authenticity, and regulatory considerations relevant to health and wellness content
- Maintain and update a CRM of active, past, and prospective partners with clear status, performance history, and relationship notes
- Content Direction & Brand Compliance
- Develop clear, compelling creative briefs that provide strategic direction and on-brand guardrails while preserving creator authenticity
- Review and approve influencer content prior to publication, ensuring alignment with brand standards, messaging frameworks, and regulatory requirements (including FTC disclosure guidelines and healthcare compliance)
- Partner with Brand and Creative teams to ensure influencer content aligns with Alloy’s broader brand expression
- Identify top-performing organic influencer content and flag it for paid amplification in collaboration with the Paid Social team
- Performance Measurement & Optimization
- Define and track KPIs across the influencer program: reach, engagement, EMV, link clicks, attributed trials, cost per acquisition, and content quality metrics
- Build and maintain performance reporting for clear visibility into influencer program contribution and ROI
- Conduct post-campaign analysis to identify successes, areas for improvement, and budget reallocation opportunities
- Apply an experimentation mindset to partner selection, content formats, messaging angles, and platform mix
- Budget Management & Forecasting
- Own influencer program budget allocation across partner tiers, content licensing, and paid amplification spend
- Develop forecasts translating influencer investment into acquisition volume and CAC targets
- Model scenarios for reallocating spend across partner tiers based on performance and saturation
- Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner with the Paid Social Senior Manager to integrate influencer content into paid creative testing pipelines and amplify top organic content
- Collaborate with Brand and Creative teams on integrated campaign moments
- Work with Legal and Compliance to ensure partnership agreements, disclosures, and health-related content claims meet applicable standards
- Partner with the Head of Content & Social to define overlaps between influencer and owned-social programming
- Channel/Program Innovation
- Identify and pilot emerging partnership models (affiliate, UGC licensing, ambassador programs) with structured test-and-learn evaluation
Requirements
- 6-8 years of influencer or creator marketing experience, with demonstrated ownership of a program or significant components (not just coordinator-level execution)
- Hands-on experience owning influencer partnerships end-to-end: sourcing, contracting, briefing, content review, and performance reporting
- Experience designing incrementality or lift-based measurement approaches, not just platform-reported metrics
- Deep platform fluency across Instagram and TikTok; working knowledge of YouTube; awareness of emerging platforms and creator formats
- Strong understanding of influencer content performance metrics and experience using data to drive partner investment and content strategy decisions
- Experience working within brand guidelines and developing creative briefs that balance direction with creator authenticity
- Familiarity with FTC disclosure requirements and brand safety considerations; experience in health, wellness, or regulated categories strongly preferred
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills, building trust with external partners and internal stakeholders
- Highly organized with strong project management instincts; able to manage a large portfolio of partners without dropping details
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, performance-oriented environment with clear ownership and reporting of outcomes
- Experience integrating influencer content into paid social workflows (whitelisting, dark posts, paid amplification of organic content)
- Familiarity with influencer marketing platforms and tools (e.g., AspireIQ, Grin, CreatorIQ, or similar)
- Background in or exposure to content strategy, creative production, or brand marketing
- Experience with affiliate or performance-based influencer structures
