What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of HR Business Partners, building capability, consistency, and succession strength across the function.
- Partner directly with VP-level and senior operational leaders as a strategic advisor on organizational design, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, and talent strategy.
- Help evolve the HR Business Partner organization toward a proactive, strategic, outcomes-driven model that aligns people strategy with business priorities.
- Coach leaders through complex employee relations matters, performance management, organizational change, leadership development, and high-impact feedback conversations.
- Oversee complex employee relations escalations, ensuring consistent, defensible, and compliant HR practices while partnering with Legal and HR Leadership as appropriate.
- Monitor workforce trends including retention, turnover, vacancy rates, leadership effectiveness, and employee engagement, translating insights into actionable business recommendations.
- Influence business outcomes by leveraging people metrics and operational data to improve workforce stability and organizational performance.
- Lead change management initiatives, including organizational restructures, leadership transitions, and business transformation efforts.
- Partner cross-functionally with HR Centers of Excellence and business leaders to drive enterprise-wide initiatives, policy implementation, and continuous improvement.
- Reinforce best practices for documentation, communication, risk mitigation, and leadership coaching across supported regions.
- Represent the HR Business Partner function in strategic initiatives while providing regional insights that influence enterprise priorities and decision-making.
What You'll Bring
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of progressive HR Business Partner, employee relations, leadership coaching, or strategic HR experience.
- 3+ years of direct people leadership experience managing and developing HR Business Partners or comparable strategic HR professionals.
- Demonstrated success partnering with VP-level or senior business leaders on complex organizational and workforce initiatives.
- Proven experience coaching, mentoring, and developing HRBP talent, including succession planning and capability building.
- Strong business and operational acumen with the ability to connect people strategies to measurable business outcomes and operational KPIs.
- Experience leading change management initiatives, including organizational redesigns, restructures, or business transformation efforts.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose workforce challenges, analyze trends, and translate data into actionable solutions.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, employment law, and risk mitigation practices.
- Experience working within large, matrixed, multi-site, or rapidly scaling organizations.
- Healthcare or clinical operations experience is strongly preferred; experience supporting distributed, multi-site retail or similarly complex environments will also be considered.
- Familiarity with Workday or comparable HRIS platforms is preferred.
