About the role
The HR Business Partner drives and aligns business objectives with HR priorities for North America Aerosol and Beverage operations. This role works closely with NA A&B and plant leadership teams to develop and execute HR strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, challenging appropriately while maintaining strong business partnerships.
- Shape the NA A&B HR strategy by helping leaders identify, prioritize, and build capabilities, behaviors, and processes aligned with business goals.
- Support cross-functional projects by providing HR subject matter expertise.
- Counsel senior managers on employee relations issues, including performance management, complaint resolution, discipline, and terminations in compliance with legal requirements.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance; partner with the legal department as needed.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build a positive Trivium culture, and increase productivity and retention.
- Identify training needs for the region and evaluate and monitor training programs to ensure success.
- Develop effective long-term staffing plans to hire the right people at the right time.
- Promote and drive projects that contribute to HR department performance or create value for the company (e.g., Opex programs).
- Provide data and analytics to identify HR-related issues, opportunities, and organizational trends.
- Implement Trivium global/regional policies and develop standardized policies and procedures in collaboration with other HR leaders.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree preferred.
- 10 years of related experience, including strategic support of senior executives aligning Human Resources strategies with business priorities.
- Recent experience operating within a complex global matrix organization, working collaboratively across an international network.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to be hands-on in implementing tools and processes.
- Proven ability to lead people toward meeting the organization’s vision, mission, and goals.
- Record of accomplishment in conflict management, leveraging diversity, developing others, and team building.
- Demonstrated strong business acumen and knowledge of multiple business functions and processes.
- Proven track record of positively impacting business results.
- Experience leading and managing in environments undergoing change and transformation.
- Ability to develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
