Senior Manager, Global TTVR Strategy (Intelligence & Performance)
About the role
Patients with mitral and tricuspid heart valve disease often have complex conditions with limited treatment options. Our Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT) business unit is boldly pursuing an innovative portfolio of technologies to address unmet clinical needs. This role will be part of our Transcatheter Tricuspid Valve Replacement (TTVR) therapy team, dedicated to advancing our long-term therapy ecosystem strategy.
The Senior Manager, TTVR Strategy will lead the development and implementation of business strategies and special initiatives, driving global strategic decisions and building strategic adoption capabilities. Key external audiences include customers, heart teams, site-level administrators, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and our growing Healthcare Provider (HCP) community. Internally, the role collaborates with the TMTT BU Leadership Team, TTVR therapy Leadership Team, global strategy partners, and delivers updates to the CEO and Edwards’ Executive Leadership Team.
This role is in-person full-time in Irvine, CA.
Responsibilities
- Drive TTVR strategic performance management and business intelligence with connected analytics, insights, key performance indicators, and reporting.
- Develop a comprehensive external investment strategy and internal governance on strategic business enablers across the care pathway.
- Leverage insights and market knowledge for executive decision support, creating presentations, high-quality data visualizations, or other tools to facilitate communication of findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Drive strategy articulation and activation, enhance connectivity between functions/regions to align on a shared plan, and foster collaborative ways of working with diversity of thought.
- Develop and plan the implementation of in-depth reviews of key business issues, similar to management consulting engagements.
- Lead the design and delivery of key strategic initiatives and executive special projects to solve critical challenges and fortify strategy.
- Play an instrumental role in the strategic framing of TTVR evidence and adoption strategies, influencing the yearly business planning process to set priorities.
- Collaborate across functions, regions, and business units to deliver an actionable strategic plan.
- Perform other incidental duties as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in clinical, scientific, technical, quantitative, business administration, or Finance (FP&A).
- 10 years of related work experience or a Master’s Degree or equivalent in a related field with 8 years of experience.
- 5 years of direct experience in sales, strategy, marketing, management consulting, business development, strategic trial management, or strategic program ownership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience in market development, patient activation, therapy adoption, or care pathway building.
- Direct experience (clinical, administrative, industry, etc.) in the cath lab, with heart teams, interventional cardiologists, or screening protocols (echocardiography, CTs, etc.) in the structural heart industry.
- Experience or demonstrable fluency/curiosity in leveraging Artificial Intelligence across internal business processes, external business models, or capability building.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into high-level strategic messages and interpret internal/external business factors into actionable recommendations.
- Expert understanding of complicated market dynamics, including identifying and quantifying market potential and building business cases with financial analysis.
- Proven expertise in PowerPoint, Excel, clinical and financial comprehension, strategic frameworks, and live presentations with high attention to detail.
- Expert understanding of related aspects of business operations and/or systems engineering.
- Ability to develop and integrate metrics that clearly demonstrate business value.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including listening to unmet needs, developing rapport, and maintaining a customer-focused approach.
- Demonstrated experience navigating complex situations with a range of professionals.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Recognized as an expert in your area with specialized depth and breadth of expertise.

Pay
For California, the base pay range for this position is $145,000 - $205,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
