T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain. Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low‑cost energy. Our fully operational 5 GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. We are focused on building advanced American manufacturing and are passionate about engineering a better future filled with abundant energy.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and continuously improve onboarding and training programs for production‑floor operators, technicians, and new manufacturing hires across all shifts.
- Partner with plant leadership, engineering, and HSE teams to identify training gaps and develop role‑specific competency frameworks tied to production quality and safety standards.
- Develop and manage a train‑the‑trainer program to scale learning capacity across the facility as headcount grows.
- Create and maintain standard‑work documentation, SOPs, visual aids, and e‑learning content for solar module assembly processes, equipment operation, and quality‑control procedures.
- Track training completion, certification status, and time‑to‑proficiency metrics; report on program effectiveness and continuously iterate based on data and feedback.
- Lead new‑employee orientation and ensure a smooth, consistent onboarding experience that reflects T1 Energy’s culture and operational expectations from day one.
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), assign training curricula, and maintain accurate employee training records to support audit and compliance readiness.

- Proven track record building or scaling training programs in a high‑volume, fast‑paced production environment (automotive, semiconductor, solar, electronics, or similar industries).
- Solar manufacturing experience is strongly preferred; familiarity with module assembly processes, lamination, stringing, or related equipment is a significant plus.
- Experience designing adult‑learning programs using instructional design best practices (ADDIE, SAM, or equivalent).
- Proficiency with LMS platforms and e‑learning authoring tools (e.g., Workday Learning, Cornerstone, Articulate 360, or similar).
