Senior Manager, Fulfillment Strategy

About the Role

The Senior Manager, Fulfillment Strategy will execute assortment reviews and lead strategic planning and analysis of online programs. This role develops pricing and profitability analytics, providing insights to store-side Merchandising to grow total market share. The position analyzes data to identify opportunities across all departments and delivers recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring multi-channel alignment through online tools and capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive consistent category-level strategy planning with Merchants (40%): Coordinate data from store and online systems, develop project templates, and create concise reporting results for Online and Store Merchants.
• Develop standard reporting tools, supervise data collection, and manage reporting distribution (20%).
• Partner with functional areas such as Supply Chain, Core Merchandising, Vendor Compliance, and Inventory Management to ensure effective, cross-functional solutions (20%).
• Manage work activities and provide development for direct reports (10%).
• Serve as the primary liaison with the Merchandising Execution team to integrate online strategies into product line reviews and ensure synergies between online and core merchandising assortments (10%).

Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a field related to the job.
• Minimum of 10 years of work experience.
• High level of product knowledge and expertise.
• Strong planning, organization, and presentation skills; ability to manage multiple projects and maintain a sense of urgency.
• Effective delegation skills.
• Customer-centric mindset with the ability to view business from the customer’s perspective.
• Champion of creative and innovative thinking.
• Strategic thinking with a process-focused approach.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in online and/or retail store environments (both preferred).
• Ability to analyze, evaluate, and interpret complex data from varying sources.
• Experience with relational databases (Epiphany and/or Omniture preferred).

Schedule & Travel

• Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements

• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunities to move about.
• On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions

• Located in a comfortable indoor area; any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
