About the Role
Our client, a prestige CPG brand, is seeking a finance professional to support planning, forecasting, and business performance management activities across operational functions. This role will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, helping to drive financial discipline, improve visibility into performance, and support decision-making through analysis and insights. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with a business-partnering mindset and is comfortable working across multiple functions to support both strategic initiatives and day-to-day financial management. Must have prior FP&A experience within supply chain at a CPG company.
Responsibilities
- Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-range planning activities for assigned business areas
- Develop financial models and analyses to support operational and strategic decision-making
- Monitor performance against plans and forecasts, identifying risks, opportunities, and key business drivers
- Prepare financial projections and scenario analyses to support changing business needs
- Collaborate with operational and functional leaders to understand business objectives and support financial decision-making
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve efficiency, resource utilization, and overall business performance
- Support initiatives focused on cost management, process improvement, and growth opportunities
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders by translating financial information into actionable recommendations
- Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, highlighting trends and significant variances
- Develop and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and key performance metrics
- Track operational and financial performance indicators to improve visibility and accountability
- Present findings and recommendations to finance and business leadership teams
- Mentor and support finance team members, helping drive professional growth and development
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance work environment focused on continuous improvement
- Contribute to the establishment of best practices across financial planning and reporting processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, business partnering, or related finance roles
- Experience supporting operational, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, or other business functions is required
- Background in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance analysis
- Ability to interpret complex data and communicate meaningful insights to various stakeholders
- Excellent business partnering, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience influencing decision-making across cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Experience with ERP systems, financial planning platforms, or business intelligence tools preferred
- Ability to develop reporting solutions and performance dashboards that support business decision-making
Pay
$120,000 - $150,000/annually
