Senior Manager - Fixed Assets

About the role

This position involves leading fixed asset accounting reviews and assessments, focusing on tangible property regulations, depreciation, cost segregation, and sustainability projects. You will collaborate with technical teams, provide quality assurance, and support client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement projects related to fixed asset accounting and tax regulations.
• Consult with technical teams on complex tax issues.
• Assist in business development and maintain strong client relationships.
• Research technical issues, prepare reports, and propose solutions.
• Coordinate information with architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Oversee engagement reviews and provide exam support.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of eight years' experience in federal corporate income tax within a large firm, corporation, or law firm.
• Bachelor's degree; a master's in engineering is preferred.
• Licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM; must obtain approved credentials if not already held.
• Strong desire to focus on non-routine tax advisory and project work.
• Experience managing multiple client engagements and teams.
