About the role

This role is designed for a Financial Services consultant who is ready to move beyond managing workstreams and start leading full engagements, guiding teams, and shaping client outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engagements that matter
  • Own the delivery of Financial Services strategy engagements end-to-end—from kickoff through executive-ready recommendations
  • Elevate analysis into client-ready insight using data, analytics, and research
  • Drive project planning and execution: scope, workplan, timelines, team cadence, and quality—while keeping an eye on economics and margin
  • Create deliverables clients can act on and help them translate strategy into real-world implementation
  • Build trusted executive relationships
  • Engage executives throughout the project—aligning on goals, building buy-in, and navigating complexity with confidence
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly, succinctly, and persuasively to senior audiences
  • Lead teams and grow future leaders
  • Set clear roles and expectations, provide real-time feedback, and create a strong team culture under pressure
  • Serve as a Career Development Advisor (CDA) and play an active role in recruiting and onboarding FS talent
  • Contribute to the practice
  • Help grow the FS practice through capability building, tool development, and thought leadership
  • Support business development through client conversations, proposal development, pitches, and follow-on opportunities with existing clients
  • Stay on top of market and industry trends—and use them to shape what we bring to clients next

Requirements

You’re a high-performing consultant who combines sharp problem-solving with the ability to lead people and influence executives. You bring:

  • 7+ years in strategy or management consulting (or comparable professional services), serving Financial Services clients
  • Demonstrated expertise in commercial growth topics such as: Growth strategy and go-to-market Pricing & packaging, value proposition, monetization strategy Segmentation and analytics-led commercial strategy Product/portfolio strategy Distribution and omnichannel strategy Sales effectiveness (process, incentives, coverage, productivity)
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex analysis into crisp, compelling insight
  • Strong communication and executive-ready presentation skills
  • A track record of managing multiple projects: workplans, budgets, timelines, and delivery quality
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset—and a leadership style grounded in inclusion, empathy, and high standards
  • Interest and/or experience in selling and shaping work (new and follow-on)
  • Willingness to travel 25% or 2-3 days in office presence
  • Spanish fluency is a plus

Qualifications

An undergraduate degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Existing North American FS network is a plus (especially senior relationships).

Benefits

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, yearly performance bonus, and eligibility for annual merit-based increases, and a comprehensive benefits package. The base salary range for this position is between $190,000 to $200,000 per year for U.S. roles. Specific compensation within these ranges will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and location. Salary ranges are reviewed periodically to ensure alignment with market conditions. Benefits for eligible employees include paid time off, 13 paid holidays, medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is between $190,000 to $200,000 per year for U.S. roles.
