Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead budgeting and expense management efforts that help guide enterprise decision-making and resource alignment. You will partner closely with executive leaders and department heads to deliver clear financial insights, challenge spending assumptions, and strengthen accountability across the organization. The position also includes coaching direct reports and supporting broader finance initiatives that improve visibility into performance and support sound business planning. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $175,000 – $192,000 annually Responsibilities Lead the operating expense budget management process, including development and monitoring Partner with executive leaders to evaluate spending trends and recommend actions Provide financial insights and performance reporting for expense management Challenge spending assumptions and business cases for resource alignment Establish budget accountability with department leaders through regular reviews Coach and develop direct reports providing financial planning support Perform special projects and other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance Minimum 8 years of relevant financial analysis or accounting experience At least 5 years in a corporate budgeting role Strong proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, and MS Excel Solid understanding of corporate finance and accounting Benefits Excellent benefits package including 401(K) match Adoption assistance and parental leave Tuition reimbursement Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Nonstandard benefits that enhance workplace culture Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
