Senior Manager- Financial Planning and Analysis
Primary Responsibilities
- Leads the development and execution of the strategic plan, ensuring financial alignment with segments, and coordinating the establishment of long-term corporate targets.
- Manages the financial planning process for APi Group, ensuring alignment both with the Strategic Plan targets and with business/corporate goals and financial objectives.
- Pairs and collaborates with department heads to establish financial forecasts and plans and tracks financial performance of corporate functional areas.
- Oversees financial management, forecasting, planning, and control of non-recurring financial events and items, including review and coordination with accounting to determine qualification of non-recurring items.
- Steers project alignment with Company Wide Systems/ERP initiatives, ensuring financial tracking and integration across the organization, as well as alignment with corporate reporting.
- Collaborates with Executive Compensation Team to set compensation design, financial modeling, and Long-Term Incentive (LTI) targets for the company, in addition to tracking performance and managing accruals.
- Takes ownership of other financial, reporting, and savings projects as assigned by leadership, ensuring successful execution and alignment with company goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA is preferred but not required.
- 8+ years' experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate controlling function, or public accounting, with demonstrated skills in strategic and financial planning, business partnering, and controlling.
- Confident leader with effective communication and influencing skills, showcasing leadership presence by leading conversations with senior leaders and C-Suite.
- Proven expertise in FP&A processes, financial reporting, M&A activities (due diligence, integration, valuations), functional controlling, and enterprise performance management (EPM) systems such as HFM or Onestream.
- Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools is a plus.

- An analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns, anomalies, and insights within complex data sets.
- Organized and process-oriented; capable of managing multiple deliverables and deadlines within tight close and planning cycles.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
Benefits And Compensation
This role is based in our New Brighton Minnesota office. The salary range for this position is $143,700 - $215,500 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for annual bonus and profit sharing based on individual and company performance.
