Responsibilities
- Provide management and coaching to team leaders and managers
- Oversee team capacity planning and hiring
- Optimize AML Operations team structure and strategy
- Build high-performance teams across fiat and crypto sectors
- Lead quality monitoring and training identification efforts
- Update governance procedures in collaboration with policy teams
- Identify and implement operational effectiveness opportunities
- Approving complex investigations and overseeing case reviews
Qualifications
- 7+ years in AML compliance leadership in financial services
- Knowledge of fiat and crypto-related AML investigations
- Experience in coaching and team leadership
- In-depth understanding of Canadian AML/ATF regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Relevant industry certifications like CAMS or CFE preferred
