Senior Manager, Finance - Capital Reporting
About the role
Lead a team within FP&A responsible for management reporting with additional ownership for some regulatory reporting deliverables, while acting as a technical and subject matter expert. Lead preparation of capital-related reporting packages for senior management, governance committees, and other stakeholders, distilling complex data into succinct and clear presentations. Review and approve content and deliverables. Play a key role in budget creation, forecasting, and continuous evaluation of results, providing detailed analysis and reporting for both regulatory and management requirements. Partner with business units, Corporate FP&A, Actuarial, Risk, Treasury, Tax, and Accounting to ensure capital forecasts and reporting are aligned and well supported. Engage in large cross-functional initiatives, with potential to lead such projects. Develop team talent through coaching, prioritization, feedback, and succession planning. Coordinate performance reviews and evaluate overall team achievements. Responsible for ensuring work is performed in a control environment, may function as a process owner.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience
- Ten years of accounting/finance experience including five years of supervisory/management experience
- Strong people management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate, orally and in writing, to diverse audiences
- Organizational and prioritization skills
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office, Excel and financial business systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of insurance products, statutory reporting requirements, and management reporting, and analysis
- Knowledge of NAIC Risk Based Capital requirements
- Experience with Oracle ERP, including planning and forecasting
