About the role
The Senior Manager, Finance role supports critical, high-impact initiatives across Walmart U.S., including End-to-End (E2E) Supply Chain, eCommerce Finance, FP&A, and Transportation Finance. Senior Managers operate at the center of strategy and execution—owning significant areas of a $1B+ P&L, partnering directly with segment leaders, and driving financial clarity across large, complex business environments.
What you'll do
- Own forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning for complex business areas with $1B+ P&L responsibility.
- Translate operational, digital, and supply chain performance data into clear financial insights that influence executive decision-making.
- Partner directly with senior leadership (VP/SVP level) to evaluate strategic investments, platform enhancements, and performance trade-offs.
- Build and enhance driver-based financial models connecting operational metrics to financial outcomes.
- Lead month-end close reviews, variance analysis, and performance storytelling to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Leverage advanced analytics, visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), and data platforms (SQL, BigQuery, or similar) to improve insight generation and reporting efficiency.
What You’ll Bring
- 6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, operational finance, supply chain finance, corporate finance, or related experience within a large, complex organization.
- Demonstrated ownership of large-scale financials, including direct P&L responsibility or support of enterprise business segments.
- Experience presenting financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Advanced Excel modeling expertise, including scenario planning and driver-based forecasting.
- Proficiency with visualization tools such as Power BI (or similar platforms).
- Working knowledge of data tools such as SQL, Google BigQuery, or comparable systems.
- Experience leading finance process improvements, automation efforts, or AI-enabled transformation initiatives.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
- 1 year’s experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
- 1 year’s supervisory experience.
Additional Compensation
- The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00.
- Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
- Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Stock.
