The Role
Hadrian is building autonomous factories to accelerate U.S. aerospace manufacturing. We're seeking a hands-on Senior Manager, Facilities Infrastructure to lead the startup and stabilization of a new high-throughput factory. Key responsibilities include:
- Interface with the general contractor during construction
- Coordinate with engineering for construction-to-operations handover
- Build and lead a facilities and maintenance team
- Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Manage downtime response and root cause analysis
- Plan and manage spare parts and vendor contracts
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
What You'll Do
- Facility Startup & Construction Interface:
- Serve as primary point of contact for construction
- Sequence facility readiness for production ramp-up
- Build foundational documentation and CMMS
- Site Leadership & Strategy Execution:
- Build and lead high-performing team
- Define headcount and budget plans
- Own site-level KPIs and uptime
- Facility Systems Reliability & Operations:
- Own facility infrastructure performance
- Drive uptime and reliability
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Establish inspection routines
- Preventive & Predictive Maintenance:
- Implement preventive maintenance programs
- Monitor asset performance and trends
- Surface predictive maintenance opportunities
- Downtime Response, Communication & Root Cause Analysis:
- Own communication and escalation protocols
- Lead root cause analysis
- Analyze downtime data for process improvements
- Vendor, Contractor & Asset Planning:
- Build relationships with service providers
- Manage service contracts and SLAs
- Own contractor management and spare parts strategy
- Compliance & Continuous Improvement:
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
- Enforce safety procedures and audits
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of facilities or maintenance experience
- Experience operating or commissioning a facility of 500K sqft or larger
- Direct experience with HVAC, compressed air, electrical distribution, cranes, and building automation systems
- Proven track record of scaling high-performing technical teams
- Experience in highly regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, or medical devices
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial maintenance, construction management, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
