Senior Manager, Experiential Ops & Production

About the role

THE·TEAM operates globally, serving talent, brands, and properties in sports, music, and entertainment. Our brands and properties division supports business growth through all marketing disciplines, partnering with major leagues, teams, and venues.

Responsibilities

• Proven experience in technical event production, overseeing fabrication, audiovisual, and logistics for live events across multiple venues and locations.
• Strong background in multi-use fabrication and set design, managing diverse materials and structures for versatile event setups, and coordinating multi-stop tours with detailed logistics and transportation.
• Experience in labor management, coordinating teams of technicians, skilled laborers, and vendors, ensuring safe operation of heavy equipment for events and installations.
• Vendor management: Oversee relationships with vendors across audio, lighting, staging, fabrication, graphics, digital technology, venues, and labor, ensuring timely delivery, installation, and adherence to sustainability, diversity, and quality control standards.
• Oversee large-scale projects from planning to execution, ensuring meticulous organization and meeting client expectations.
• Collaborate with account teams to ensure flawless project delivery, aligning with client objectives, budget, and timeline.
• Create and manage project budgets of $500k+, maintaining financial parameters and meeting targets.
• Develop and manage production schedules, run-of-show documents, and enforce deliverable dates critical to project success.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing client needs promptly throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and guide the project team, providing direction, coaching, and professional development, fostering a positive, team-oriented atmosphere.
• Cultivate collaboration within the account team, identifying nuances and continuously evolving processes to ensure effective integrated project management.
• Contribute to business development efforts, seeking new revenue opportunities with both existing and potential clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
• 4 – 7 years of relevant operations experience (preferably in experiential, sports, or entertainment fields)
• Ability to remain calm under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
• Strong understanding of the experiential landscape with a proven ability to deliver projects from start to finish
• Confidence in presenting and communicating with senior clients, crafting complex, nuanced written communications for both internal and external outreach
• Comfortable working as an integral part of a team, demonstrating a solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to inspire and lead team members, generating positive morale
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a 'can-do' attitude

Pay

Base salary range: $75-85K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role. Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc.
