About the role

You will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of best-in-class meetings and events that support the priorities of the businesses, industry associations, and senior leadership across the Customer Solutions Division.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business objectives into event strategies and experiences, partnering closely with Marketing, Commercial, and Leadership stakeholders to define purpose, audience, format, and success metrics.
  • Oversee and coach team on the execution of meeting requirements, plans and schedules that meet identified requirements.
  • Manage large scale domestic and international programs.
  • Deliver attendee experiences that generate high levels of engagement, in-person and/or virtually.
  • Lead collaboration across group, division and business units for division meetings (i.e. national sales meeting).
  • Manage the selection, negotiation and management of vendors needed to execute meetings.
  • Institute processes, systems and tools for effective meeting planning and evaluation across the division.
  • Launch methods for attendee and stakeholder feedback to provide recommendations for future program enhancements or changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of professional work experience is required for this position
  • 7+ years trade show/event experience/convention experience is needed for this role
  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects while delivering on established timelines

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive understanding of virtual platforms and tools to recommend optimal strategy for virtual events and meetings.
