Position Summary

Walmart Connect’s (WMC) Emerging Brands sales leadership team is seeking an experienced people manager (Senior Manager) to help scale and grow our advertising partnerships across e-commerce platforms and in-store activations.

What you'll do...

  • Accelerate advertising revenue growth from assigned vertical
  • Create and refine business processes that improve the productivity and throughput of the sales team
  • Identify and address key issues impacting emerging advertisers’ performance and experience with WMC suite of advertising solutions
  • Work within a matrix organization and lead, coach, and influence people
  • Possess strong consultative sales skills with C-suite leaders, collaborative and innovative spirit, and comfort dealing with ambiguity

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in building and managing high-performing teams
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth with emerging opportunities and established partnerships
  • Strong understanding of advertising technology and data/performance measurement trends
  • Deep understanding of eCommerce fundamentals and trends
  • Skilled storyteller with experience communicating marketing opportunities to brands
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate insights, product information, and data into client value
  • Ability to thrive in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Leadership experience in introducing new performance measures, processes, and systems to achieve operational excellence
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing and sales, or related area and 4 years' experience in business, marketing and sales, or related area.
  • Or 6 years' experience in business, marketing and sales, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing and Sales, or related area, and 5+ years' experience managing sales teams in Business, Marketing and Sales, or related area.

Additional Compensation

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include : Stock

  • The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.
