About the Team

The DashMart Growth team is responsible for accelerating consumer growth across DoorDash's first-party retail business. We own the strategies that drive customer acquisition, retention, order frequency, and long-term profitability by partnering across Product, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Business Development.

Within DashMart, this role will focus on our DashMart Fulfillment Services business. DashMart Fulfillment Services (DFS) transforms DashMart from a standalone retailer into the fulfillment platform powering merchant ecommerce on and off DoorDash. DFS enables traditional grocers to accelerate toward best-in-class quality and economics while giving consumers faster, higher-quality delivery from the brands and selection they already trust.

Pricing is one of our most important growth levers. As DashMart evolves from a convenience business to powering local grocery through DashMart Fulfillment Services (DFS), we're reimagining how pricing, promotions, affordability, and merchandising work together to deliver compelling customer value while maintaining sustainable economics. We're looking for entrepreneurial builders who enjoy solving ambiguous problems, using data to inform strategy, and turning insights into scalable customer experiences.

About the Role

As Senior Manager on our DashMart Strategy & Operations team, you will define and lead DashMart's pricing strategy across our consumer businesses, including DashMart and DashMart Fulfillment Services. You will own the strategic roadmap for pricing and affordability, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Analytics, Operations, Marketing, and Business Development to identify opportunities that improve customer value, accelerate growth, and strengthen unit economics.

This role requires a strategic operator who can move seamlessly between executive strategy, deep analytics, experimentation, and cross-functional execution. You'll build the long-term pricing vision while also rolling up your sleeves to solve complex problems and launch new capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Own DashMart's pricing strategy and roadmap, identifying opportunities across pricing architecture, affordability, promotions, fees, and merchandising to drive customer growth while balancing profitability.
  • Use a data-driven approach to develop pricing frameworks that support different customer missions—from convenience and top-up grocery to weekly stock-up—and evolve our pricing approach as our business expands.
  • Translate strategy into execution by working across Product, Engineering, Finance, Analytics, Operations, and Business Development to launch new pricing capabilities and scale successful programs.
  • Serve as the cross-functional leader for pricing, aligning executive stakeholders around recommendations and balancing customer experience, merchant relationships, operational complexity, and financial outcomes.
  • Create repeatable pricing playbooks, operating rhythms, dashboards, and decision frameworks that enable DashMart to make faster, higher-quality pricing decisions as the business grows.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Strategy & Operations, management consulting, growth, pricing, marketplace strategy, or a related analytical function.
  • Deep analytical skills and comfort working with large datasets using SQL and BI tools.
  • AI-forward mindset, leveraging automation, LLMs, and emerging technologies to accelerate analysis, improve decision-making, and increase team leverage. Experience with Claude & Cursor is a plus.
  • Strong product mindset with the ability to partner effectively with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit; thrive in ambiguity and enjoy building new capabilities from scratch. Combine strategic thinking with operational excellence and aren’t afraid to dive into details when needed.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree; MBA preferred. Concentrations in business, economics, mathematics, computer science, or marketing are preferred.

Pay

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the range of $170,000—$250,000 USD and is determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future. In addition to base salary, this role includes opportunities for equity grants.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision benefits.
  • 401(k) plan with employer matching.
  • 16 weeks of paid parental leave.
  • Wellness benefits and commuter benefits match.
  • Paid time off and paid sick leave in compliance with applicable laws (e.g., Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act).
  • 11 paid holidays.
  • Disability and basic life insurance.
  • Family-forming assistance and a mental health program.

Paid Time Off Details:

  • For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
