Senior Manager, Cybersecurity and Network
Responsibilities
- Shape and lead a cybersecurity roadmap that strengthens infrastructure defenses and aligns security priorities with business goals.
- Direct the deployment and ongoing improvement of safeguards across network environments, servers, cloud platforms, and endpoint systems.
- Evaluate infrastructure-related threats and vulnerabilities, then drive practical remediation plans to reduce operational and security risk.
- Lead security incident response activities, coordinate investigations, and oversee root cause analysis to improve future resilience.
- Maintain compliance readiness by supporting security standards, audit activities, and control validation across technology environments.
- Oversee enterprise network operations, including secure connectivity, perimeter protection, segmentation, and remote access capabilities.
- Contribute directly to architecture decisions, technical configurations, troubleshooting efforts, and performance improvements alongside the team.
- Guide patching, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening efforts to improve the security and stability of core infrastructure.
- Mentor cybersecurity and network professionals, define measurable team objectives, and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Partner with vendors, service providers, auditors, and internal leaders to communicate security risks, operational status, and improvement plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, including demonstrated leadership within cybersecurity-focused functions.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, servers, virtualization, cloud connectivity, and infrastructure security principles.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanning tools, and configuration management practices.
- Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and other recognized control standards.
- Ability to lead incident response efforts and translate technical findings into clear business impact and risk guidance.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or comparable credentials are preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams, executives, and external partners.
