About the role
The Senior Manager, Controllership, leads the oversight of financial accounting flows and processes and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role ensures accuracy in financial statements, manages internal controls, and drives process improvements while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The position requires strong leadership to promote ethical practices and support business objectives through effective financial analysis and operational planning. Responsibilities
- Manage annual budget preparation by reviewing, analyzing, and consolidating preliminary budgets and presenting recommendations to senior management.
- Oversee financial reporting, balance sheet accounts, and audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Lead accounting operations by applying technical accounting knowledge and resolving discrepancies to maintain compliance with statutory requirements.
- Ensure consistent application of policies and Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance through thorough review and evaluation of financial statements.
- Drive execution of business plans by identifying needs, removing obstacles, and measuring performance to achieve objectives.
- Provide leadership through mentoring, training, and performance management to develop a high-performing team.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and technical accounting standards.
- Proven experience managing general ledger reconciliation, month-end closing, and financial statement analysis.
- Strong expertise in internal controls, compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead budgeting processes, analyze financial data, and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Proficiency in accounting software and data analysis to support accurate financial reporting.
- Effective leadership skills with experience mentoring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or related area.
- 1 year’s supervisory experience.
Skills
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and technical accounting standards.

Pay and Schedule
The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
