About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical associate to join the Competitive Intelligence team. You could help innovate and drive GEICO’s profitable growth. As a Sr. Manager, Competitive Intelligence, you will lead efforts to monitor, analyze, and provide recommendations based on top competitor strategies and qualitative research.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute competitive intelligence strategy aligned with business objectives
- Identify and prioritize key competitors, market trends, and emerging threats
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with business units, marketing, and product development
- Conduct market research and analysis to inform business decisions
- Monitor competitor activity, product offerings, and pricing strategies
- Analyze industry trends, regulatory changes, and market shifts
- Develop and maintain comprehensive competitor profiles
- Assess competitor strengths, weaknesses, and market positioning
- Identify gaps and opportunities for competitive advantage
- Provide actionable insights to inform product development, pricing, and marketing strategies
- Develop and maintain competitive landscape reports and dashboards
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Build understanding of key competitor success metrics and benchmark the competition and industry against GEICO
- Gain a strong understanding of the P&C insurance industry
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to think strategically and tactically
- Insurance industry knowledge and experience required
- Proficiency in CI tools and software
- Proven track record of successfully driving results and projects
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Demonstrated ability to make change happen
Location
Chicago, Bethesda, and NYC with a 3-day in-office requirement.
Pay
Annual salary range: $130,175.00 - $212,175.00. The above range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final salary, including scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, training, work location, and market and business considerations.
