Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrates our core competencies: Action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownership
- Lead proposal execution for Gas Turbine / Combined Cycle and Hydrogen Generation & Storage opportunities, ensuring on-time, compliant, and competitive submissions
- Serve as primary commercial liaison to Owners and EPC customers for assigned proposals
- Develop and execute winning bid strategies in collaboration with Sales and Engineering
- Lead contract negotiations for equipment supply contracts for assigned opportunities, escalating key commercial risks as required
- Manage commercial scope development, contract formation, risk identification, and internal approvals
- Manage a commercial team of 0–3 direct reports, providing coaching and technical guidance
- Maintain proposal opportunity data, pricing history, and approvals within CRM systems
- Support development and refinement of commercial tools, templates, and standard work
- Monitor industry trends and contribute insights to improve future bid positioning
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field required
- MBA preferred
- 5–8 years of experience leading: End-to-end commercial proposals for energy or industrial projects, Contract negotiations within defined authority limits and experience coordinating with Engineering, Legal, Supply Chain, and Sales
- Strong working knowledge of: equipment supply, EPC and LTSA contracts, pricing structures, cash flow, guarantees, and LDs
- Ability to assess and articulate commercial risk
- Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written) required with the ability to negotiate in Spanish
- Proven negotiation skills
- Strong stakeholder and customer-facing communication
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Proficiency managing CRM opportunity pipelines and reporting
- Experience managing or mentoring 0–3 direct reports
- Demonstrated sound commercial judgment
- Results-driven with strong ownership mindset
