Senior Manager Clinical Informatics - Hybrid

About the role

The Sr. Manager, Regional Clinical Informatics collaborates with Directors and Medical Informatics to implement, support, and optimize clinical informatics, Caring Reliably framework, IS strategy, and other organizational commitments. They partner with clinical and physician leaders to manage staff performance in informatics initiatives, focusing on IT and services to support nursing and interdisciplinary care partners.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Directors and Medical Informatics to implement, support, and optimize clinical informatics, Caring Reliably framework, IS strategy, and other organizational commitments.
• Partner with clinical and physician leaders to manage staff performance in informatics initiatives, focusing on IT and services to support nursing and interdisciplinary care partners.
• Combine knowledge of patient care, informatics concepts, and change management to represent information and knowledge needs and requirements of healthcare professionals and patients, promoting safe, effective, and efficient use of information technology in clinical settings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Bachelor's/Master's: Informatics, BA, Health Care Administration, Public Administration or related healthcare field.
• 8 years Related experience.
• 6 years Leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree Nursing; or degree in process.
• Or Bachelor's/Master's: Informatics, BA, Health Care Administration, Public Administration or related healthcare field.
• Upon hire: Certification in Informatics.
• Upon hire: Epic Certification in one or more applications.
• Upon hire: Informatics certifications or credentialing (may be equivalent for up to 2 years of experience for this position at the hiring manager’s discretion).
