Senior Manager, Client Business Analytics Consultant

The Senior Manager Analytic Consultant is an experienced customer-facing analyst who supports the Account Team’s ability to craft a compelling story and become trusted advisors by turning a customer’s data into meaningful and actionable information. This role focuses on medical claims and economics reporting and analytics for MaineHealth, a dedicated Healthcare Business Solution customer.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day oversight of customer-facing analytics work and correspondence, setting priorities and aligning resources to meet field partners' and customers' needs.
  • Collaborate with field leaders to understand business retention and growth objectives, ensuring analytics work supports these goals.
  • Offer proactive trend advising and cost mitigation strategies.
  • Work directly with customers in a strategic advisory role as needed.
  • Advise on recent trends and necessary updates in collaboration with Plan Sponsor reporting partners.
  • Work closely with Clinical Program Consultants to provide integrated financial and clinical reporting and trusted advising.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of healthcare industry experience interpreting and analyzing aspects of a customer’s experience, including financial results, medical management, population health, and effectiveness of incentive/wellness strategies.
  • Experience using data to tell a cohesive story, connecting strategies and results to identify and communicate areas of opportunity.
  • Strong understanding of medical economics concepts, such as Value-Based Care arrangements, medical cost monitoring/mitigation, provider/network concepts, and claim research.
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills at the senior level, with the ability to build and maintain credible relationships across organizational levels.
  • Proven strategic thinking ability, with a capacity for independent and innovative problem-solving.
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced proficiency in Excel preferred. Experience with reporting/analytic applications (e.g., SQL, SAS, GCP) is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work cross-functionally to achieve goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate complex business results and strategies clearly and confidently.
  • Strong knowledge of claim coding (CPT/DRG), provider networks, benefit designs, healthcare products/funding, medical management programs, and financial acumen.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, specialized training, or relevant professional qualification.

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $67,900.00 - $182,549.00 annually. This position is also eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program, as well as equity awards.

This position may be remote or hybrid, depending on candidate location and commute to a hub location. East Coast preferred.
