About the Role

As the Regional Distribution Manager, you will oversee all Regional Distribution activities, including Vehicle Distribution, Logistics, Regional Fleet sales, and Company Cars. This role is critical to HMA’s daily business operations due to its significant impact on our distribution and sales processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and order the optimal product mix for maximum turn-rate.
  • Monitor and control the allocation process to assure timely and equitable distribution.
  • Coordinate all activities of port operations to ensure vehicles are expediently shipped.
  • Coordinate all Regional Fleet and Service Loaner activities.
  • Assist Regional Sales Manager with activities such as auto shows, sales training, and HDAA initiatives.
  • Supervise and direct activities of department analysts.
  • Maintain monthly and yearly department expenses within established guidelines.
  • Mentor and train Distribution Sales Managers (DSMs).
  • Serve as the regional source for QMF/SQL data generation.
  • Act as the regional contact to the Director of Sales Operations for all inventory, allocation, and product planning issues.
  • Perform all other assigned duties that are ancillary to this position and/or complement the essential duties.
  • Approve Time Off Requests for the regional distribution section.
  • Approve Equipment/Software requests for the regional distribution section.
  • Complete Performance Goals/Evaluations for the regional distribution section.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
  • Master’s degree (a plus).
  • Eight or more years of wholesale-related automotive experience with demonstrated abilities in direct dealer contacts.
  • Two to three years of supervisory experience (desired).
  • Demonstrated abilities in AS400, SQL, EXAM, QMF, and database management.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in QMF query ability.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).

Pay

Compensation Range: $114,800.00 - $164,000.00 annual base salary.

Normal office duties.
