Senior Manager
About the role
The Senior Manager will lead client engagements for Investment Wealth Management organizations from scoping through delivery, manage client stakeholders, engagement teams, and multiple workstreams across complex business initiatives, oversee project plans, deliverables, risks, timelines, and project economics, develop recommendations, operating approaches, and implementation plans aligned to client objectives, and contribute to practice growth through proposals, offering development, and coaching of junior practitioners.

- Developing recommendations, operating approaches, and implementation plans aligned to client objectives
- Supporting practice growth through proposals, offering development, and coaching of junior practitioners

Deloitte’s Investment Wealth Management practice supports clients across wealth management, asset management, and investment operations. Teams work with organizations to address business priorities, improve operating models, enhance client service, and deliver strategic initiatives across the enterprise. This practice serves clients seeking structured problem solving, stakeholder alignment, and execution support in a changing market environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ years relevant consulting and/or investment management experience
- 10+ years of experience in translating requirements into optimized designs, and identifying design alternatives and implications on functionality, effort, performance and operations
- 10+ years of experience leading smaller engagements or components of large, complex strategy and/or operations transformation engagements
- 10+ years of experience identifying client business issues, owning responsibility for the quality of deliverables, managing stakeholder relationships, and developing persuasive recommendations
- 10+ years of experience collaborating with financial services industry senior executives, and comfort delivering presentations to management.
- 8+ years’ experience developing and presenting proposal responses
- Travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Advanced degree in area of specialization (preferred)
- Experience in various sector packages (e.g., Aladdin, Simcorp, Charles River, Fidessa, EZE, Calypso / Murex, Bloomberg AIM, Portware, FlexTrade, FIS, Eagle PACE, IMS Markit EDM, Data Science platform buildout, Ipreo (iLevel and ival), eFront, Investran, Workday, SalesForce, Market Intelligence experience: DST SalesConnect, Market Metrics Matrix, and Fishtank.) (preferred)
