Senior Manager, Analytics, GEO
About the role
The Senior Manager, Analytics, GEO role at dentsu supports measurement, reporting, and insights across traditional SEO and AI-powered discovery for a complex enterprise client. This role involves helping to define how shifts in generative AI, answer engines, and large language models (LLMs) are measured, interpreted, and communicated.
Responsibilities
- Help shape measurement frameworks that extend SEO and performance analytics into GEO across priority brands, workstreams, and use cases.
- Support KPI standards across organic visibility, AI visibility, citations, answer inclusion, engagement, traffic quality, and business impact.
- Clarify which metrics are meaningful, directional, or need additional context for client and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Translate SEO recommendations and emerging GEO opportunities into measurable learning agendas and practical reporting plans.
- Report key inputs across analytics, enterprise reporting, SEO, AI monitoring, LLM visibility, citation tracking, and answer inclusion data.
- Build dashboards and report standards that make performance easier to compare across brands, workstreams, and time periods.
- Document metric definitions, data sources, reporting caveats, QA steps, and delivery expectations.
- Improve recurring reporting processes while maintaining quality, consistency, and strong analytical thinking.
- Support analyses and test-and-learn ideas tied to visibility, engagement, traffic quality, and business outcomes.
- Communicate data limitations, confidence levels, directional signals, and open questions clearly.
- Identify measurement gaps and recommend practical improvements for reporting, benchmarking, and decision-making.
- Turn complex data into clear narratives, implications, recommendations, and next steps.
- Support performance readouts with GEO, SEO, analytics, media, content, brand, and client stakeholders.
- Contribute to POVs and presentations on how AI-driven discovery is changing SEO, content performance, and measurement.
- Partner with GEO, SEO, content, media, and client teams.
- Bring structure to ambiguous workstreams by documenting decisions, surfacing risks, and clarifying next steps.
- Flag risks early and support alignment across teams.
- Support partners and teammates with analytical judgment, QA, storytelling, and clear communication.
- Help teams make data-informed decisions through clear analysis and practical recommendations.
- Support adoption of new measurement approaches, tools, and reporting standards.
Requirements
5+ years of analytics, SEO, digital performance, enterprise reporting, content performance, or performance marketing measurement experience. Strong foundation in SEO measurement, organic search reporting, and performance marketing analytics. Experience supporting KPI frameworks, measurement plans, dashboards, recurring reporting, or data QA. Hands-on experience with tools such as Adobe Analytics, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar platforms. Familiarity with Google Search Console and SEO platforms such as BrightEdge, Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar tools a plus. Strong ability to turn data from multiple sources into clear narratives and actionable recommendations. SQL proficiency or experience with data transformation is a plus but not required. Exposure to AI monitoring, LLM visibility, AI Overview tracking, citation analysis, answer inclusion, or GEO measurement tools (Adobe LLM Optimizer, Profound, BlueFish, etc.) is a plus but not required.

Skills

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
Schedule
This role is full-time and permanent. Employees who live within a commutable distance of one of our hub offices, currently located in Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, and New York City, are required and expected to work from the office three days per week (two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles). Employees who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, you are expected to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
