How We LEAD
The Senior Manager, Global Data and Analytics will report directly into the EVP, Global Data and Analytics, and will support REPUBLIC Collective in implementing analytics strategy across A&R and Marketing by designing and developing innovative, highly adopted data-driven solutions (tools and applications) to solve critical business problems.
How You’ll CREATE
- Connect business strategy to research insights and translate them into impeccable design solutions, delivering products with mass adoption and daily engagement across all key areas of REPUBLIC Collective and our artist partners.
- Serve as an embed for all data-related questions and actions across the label group to generate maximum ROI with minimum turnaround time to implementation.
- Alongside existing engineering teams, iterate on innovative and bespoke product features that solve the most important and commercially impactful problems for the business which are easy-to-use, driving mass-adoption amongst marketing and A&R teams, and artist management partners.
- Develop and execute a variety of effective and efficient UX research processes, with the goal of a repeatable, clear, benchmarked, and actionable end products.
- Help identify, maintain, and clean the best data pipelines to help ensure we are mining all available information in service of industry leading KPI’s to impact efficiency and effectiveness across A&R and marketing.
- Build and refine an extensive knowledge of real-time users and their needs across all areas of the business and our label and artist partners, resulting in best-practice qualitative and quantitative research techniques that fit the current and future needs of the business.
VIBE
- Passion and curiosity for music and the data that is used within the industry, preferably with an-depth knowledge of current music industry trends including key account, consumption pattern shifts, and the impact/variety of social media.
- Advanced level Excel skills, with the ability to develop dynamic models using named ranges / formulaic references.
- Understanding of API usage for importing data for analysis.
- Familiarity with statistical concepts and tools, along with the ability to use them effectively in analyses.
- Adept in distilling large amounts of data into concise, actionable summaries.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented team player.
- Ability to present findings in a visually compelling and articulate manner.
- Self-sufficient with the confidence to independently pursue information.
- Ability to thrive in fast paced environment, manage multiple tasks at once and work to deadlines.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of work experience in data analysis, management consulting, entertainment industry analysis, or similar role.
- Music Industry preferred but not required.
- Experience working with analytical tools including, but not limited to Excel, Tableau, BigQuery, Alteryx, etc.
- BS in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similarly quantitative degree.
