Senior Manager, AI Operations & Platform Engineering
Responsibilities
Lead global infrastructure operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments
Drive operational excellence, resiliency, scalability, observability, and automation
Lead modernization initiatives across cloud, virtualization, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and developer platforms
Improve incident management, operational governance, reliability engineering, and service management practices
Build intelligent operations capabilities including AI-assisted support, predictive insights, automation, and self-healing workflows
Partner with platform engineering, security, developer enablement, and product teams
Drive platform adoption, operational alignment, and engineering productivity
Support enterprise security, governance, compliance, and FedRAMP-related initiatives
Lead follow-the-sun operations and global operational readiness
Build a culture of accountability, innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
Balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational execution
Partner with vendors and service providers to improve scalability and operational efficiency
Requirements
8–12+ years in infrastructure engineering, cloud operations, platform engineering, SRE, or enterprise infrastructure
5-8 + years managing engineering or infrastructure operations teams
Strong experience with AWS (preferred), Azure, and/or GCP
Deep understanding of data centers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, automation, and developer platforms
Experience driving operational transformation, automation, and AI-assisted operations initiatives
Strong communication, organizational, and cross-functional leadership skills
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: 8–12+ years in infrastructure engineering, cloud operations, platform engineering, SRE, or enterprise infrastructure
5-8 + years managing engineering or infrastructure operations teams
Strong experience with AWS (preferred), Azure, and/or GCP
Deep understanding of data centers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, automation, and developer platforms
Experience driving operational transformation, automation, and AI-assisted operations initiatives
Strong communication, organizational, and cross-functional leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading large-scale enterprise infrastructure and platform environments
Experience managing global teams and offshore operations
Background in AI-driven operations, intelligent automation, observability, and reliability engineering
Proven ability to modernize legacy operational models into scalable cloud-first platforms
Benefits
Salary range: $151,300 - $271,150
