Senior Manager, AI Corporate Engineering

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a senior team in platform engineering and technical program management
• Own the AI access layer, ensuring secure identity and authentication for AI tools
• Oversee AI cost engineering and establish budget thresholds in coordination with the Finance team
• Manage the MCP layer for internal tools, including commissioning, governance, and migration assessments
• Create a paved path for internal applications by establishing deployment patterns and lifecycle policies
• Build an enablement layer to promote effective AI adoption across the company
• Write and maintain the team charter, coordinating with departments to reduce duplication of efforts

Qualifications

• 8+ years in platform, infrastructure, or systems engineering related to AI and 3+ years in a management role
• Experience establishing an internal AI or developer platform from scratch
• Fluency in AI cost engineering principles including usage attribution and model right-sizing
• Technical knowledge of LLM platform tools, identity management, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code
• Ability to build engagement across various functions within an organization and influence key partnerships

Pay

$150,000 – $180,000 annually
