About the role

This position is required to perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high volume outpatient setting, either fixed or mobile. Responsible for producing high quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA either as designated Quality Control technologist or under their direction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiological technical procedures specific to breast disease diagnosis and treatment.
  • Produce high quality radiographic images.
  • Interact with patients in a caring and comforting manner.
  • Perform required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA.

Requirements

  • Formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • National Registered Technologist - Mammography within 1 year of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of full-time mammography.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $54.71 - $83.34 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
