Senior Maintenance Technician
About the role
The Senior Maintenance Technician with OMES will oversee multiple state buildings managed by OMES DCAM Office of Facilities Management. This oversight may include the status of systems, work orders, and construction projects within the facilities assigned.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the oversight of multiple state buildings managed by OMES DCAM Office of Facilities Management.
- Be responsible for completing assigned PM inspection schedules for all buildings assigned.
- Assign work requests entered into the Integrated Work Management System (IWMS) to individuals on their team.
- Review subordinate staff entries for work orders, completion of work, and time cards in the IWMS.
- Assign scheduled preventive maintenance work orders.
- Provide oversight and direction on tasks assigned to subordinate staff.
- Oversee event setups within OFM managed facilities to ensure occupant safety.
- Serve as supervisor of a small staff of up to 5 employees or contractors.
- Denotes essential function physical demands and work environment.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- (2) years of experience in construction, maintenance, or skilled building trade
- Preference may be given to qualified applicants with three (3) or more years of supervisory experience

Salary up to $59,228.40 based on education and experience.
Schedule
Full-time 40-hour work weeks.
