Senior Maintenance Technician
About the role
JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee complex repairs and preventive maintenance on machinery and facility systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems to minimize downtime.
- Modify, weld, machine, and assemble parts, tooling, and fixtures to support production.
- Cook up and execute equipment moves, installations, and alignments.
- Maintain a safe workspace, follow OSHA guidelines, wear PPE, and report hazards.
- Provide guidance and technical support to less-experienced technicians.
- Able to communicate with vendors or manufacturer on trouble shooting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
- 5+ years of industrial or facilities maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fabrication abilities.
- Skilled with hand tools, power tools, welding, machining, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing setting; able to work overtime.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. maximum, 35 lbs. repetitively
- Ability to work in confined spaces, elevated areas, and varying environmental conditions

Pay
Expected pay for this role is between $38.08 to $42.09 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
